2. طلب وثيقة سفر بديلة
وثائق UNHCR أو وثائق السفر الصادرة عن دولة إقامتك قد تتيح لك التنقل في الوقت الحالي.
3. السعي للحصول على جنسية ثانية عبر الاستثمار
هذا هو الخيار الذي أعمل عليه مع عملائي. جنسية ثانية لا تحل مشكلة الجنسية المسحوبة — لكنها تمنحك جواز سفر فعلياً تعيش به.
ماذا لا تفعل
- لا تدفع لأي شخص يعدك بـ "استعادة الجنسية الكويتية"
- لا تسافر بوثائق منتهية الصلاحية دون استشارة قانونية
- لا تتجاهل الوضع — كلما أسرعتَ في فهم خياراتك، كلما كانت لديك فرص أكبر

The Context: What Is Happening in Kuwait?
Kuwait has a large Bedoon community — estimated at over 100,000 people — who were born and lived in Kuwait for generations without receiving citizenship. Additionally, citizenship revocations sometimes happen to people who previously held it, for various reasons.
What Does Citizenship Revocation Mean Practically?
- Passport expiry with no renewal possible
- Loss of legal residency rights in Kuwait
- Potential impact on employment, education, and healthcare rights
- Difficulty with international travel
But — and this is important — revocation does not prevent you from applying to other citizenship programs.
Your Main Options
1. Legal challenge to the revocation decision
This requires a specialized Kuwaiti attorney. Some revocation decisions are contestable. But it is a long process with no guaranteed outcome.
2. Obtain an alternative travel document
UNHCR documents or travel documents issued by your country of residence may allow you to travel in the meantime.
3. Pursue a second citizenship through investment
This is the option I work on with my clients. A second citizenship does not resolve the revoked citizenship issue — but it gives you an actual passport to live with.
What Not to Do
- Do not pay anyone who promises to "restore your Kuwaiti citizenship"
- Do not travel on expired documents without legal advice
- Do not ignore the situation — the sooner you understand your options, the more possibilities you have

Talk to someone who understands your situation. Not necessarily a lawyer first — but someone who can read your case and help you prioritize. If your primary goal is a passport that lets you move and work, CBI programs are the clearest and fastest path currently available.
